Do I have to participate every time I am invited to take a survey?
We encourage you to take a survey whenever you receive an invitation. However, we are keenly aware of the demands on your time, and we take care to limit the number and length of surveys that you are invited to take. To remain an active member of the FORTUNE Business Leader Council, you must complete three surveys per year.

How is the information from surveys used?
FORTUNE Business Leader Council survey results are used for market research purposes. FORTUNE uses results to help develop products and services. Advertisers use the information to shape their product and service offerings and improve how they communicate the benefits of those products. Members use survey results to check the state of the business community. All information is analyzed in aggregate, and your personally identifiable information will be protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

How long do surveys take to complete?
Surveys are typically short and take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. The occasional longer survey might take up to 15 minutes. Of course, time may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection or browser.

Can I use FORTUNE Business Leader Council survey results in presentations, web pages, newsletters, papers, or articles?
Absolutely. Access to and use of information published by the Council is a valuable membership benefit. There are only two requirements for using survey results or other data:
  1. You must cite the FORTUNE Business Leader Council and particular survey or Quick Poll.
  2. The administrators of the FORTUNE Business Leader Council must preview and approve articles, or other to-be-published materials that contain reference to the Council or data published on http://www.fortunecouncil.com. Send preview content to franniles@fortunecouncil.com.
